Two dates that will change your sourcing
EU battery labelling becomes mandatory
Manufacturer details, battery category, chemistry, capacity, place and date of manufacture, weight, extinguishing agent, CE mark and separate-collection symbol must appear on the cell or the pack.
Portable batteries must be user-replaceable
Under (EU) 2023/1542 the end user must be able to remove and replace the battery without specialist tools. Sealed, glued housings will not be compliant. Our main lines already use a tool-free cradle.

HTS 8507.60 carries 3.4% MFN plus Section 301 at 25%, with further surcharges under review — plan for 28–41% at entry. It is why we quote Vietnam-assembled options as well.
